Swedish Massage
A full body massage that stimulates blood circulation and soothes tense muscles. It is the most common type of massage involving long “flushing” strokes, palmar and fist kneading.

Neuromuscular Massage (NMT)
This technique, developed by osteopaths, is based open the physiology and interaction of the nervous systems and involves reducing the tone of hypertonic tissues and increasing the length of tissues that are foreshortened.

This type of massage releases chronic pain by using deep finger pressure and slow strokes on targeted areas.

Orthopedic Massage
A form of therapeutic bodywork for treating pain or injuries caused by dysfunction in the muscles, tendons, ligaments, bones—any tissue that is involved in creating and limiting the body. Orthopedic Massage may incorporate diverse techniques such as trigger point therapy, deep transverse friction, myofascial approaches or muscle energy techniques.

This uses specific techniques to help prevent injury, relive stiffness or pain, increase blood and oxygen supply, and restore muscle function. Sports massage is frequently part of an athletes training or injury rehabilitation.

Hot Stone Massage
Experience a luxurious and relaxing massage combined with deep heat therapy. Smooth, polished Basalt Lava Stones are heated and incorporated in the massage. It’s the perfect treatment to loosen tight muscles and relieve stress.

Raindrop Therapy
This Technique uses a sequence of essential oils that are dispensed like raindrops onto the soles of the feet and along the spine. The oils are then brushed with light gentle strokes into the skin. It is designed to bring the body into structural and electrical alignment. The oils continue to have therapeutic effects for 5-7 days after treatment.

Baby Belly Massage
A wonderful aromatherapy massage for the expectant mother. A full body massage is done using the Prego pillow(A table attachment which allows the mother to lay face down with no pressure on her belly. At the end of the session, the mother-to-be recieves a surprise gift! Can only be booked after the 1st trimester.

Prenatal
Pregnancy places strong demands on a woman's body and is a time for the body to be nurtured and pampered. This type of massage relieves the tensions and aches caused by weight changes and shifts in gravity to the body, but reduces swelling and fatigue, soothes the nervous system, and enhances energy.
